Collaborate
The Q-BEx team is open to collaboration with other research groups and with SLTs and teachers. Please get in touch with us if you have an idea or project you’d like us to work with you on. We’re keen to see the Q-BEx questionnaire made available in as many different languages as possible. If there’s a language missing from the list, and you would like to help create a translation, please get in touch (qbex@leeds.ac.uk). Q-BEX is a non-profit service for researchers, educators and clinicians. To ensure the long-term availability of Q-BEx for free to educators and clinicians as well as non-funded researchers, we need to raise £6,000 (i.e., €7,100 or $7,900) per year.  This is to guarantee the highest levels of data security as per General Data Protection Regulation, technical support ensuring uninterrupted functionality, and frequent security upgrades.

We aim to continue being able to guarantee availability of the tool for a minimum of 2 years at any point in time. This corresponds to the length of time the data from your project remains available to you on the Q-BEx servers. We are therefore asking researchers to include funding for Q-BEx access in their grant applications going forward. Our team will also continue looking for (and applying for) grants for maintenance, upkeep and improvements.
