Ensuring the longevity of Q-BEx

Q-BEX is a non-profit service for researchers, educators and clinicians. To ensure the long-term availability of Q-BEx for free to educators and clinicians as well as non-funded researchers, we need to raise £6,000 (i.e., €7,100 or $7,900) per year.  This is to guarantee the highest levels of data security as per General Data Protection Regulation, technical support ensuring uninterrupted functionality, and frequent security upgrades.  So far we have been able to obtain small grants to cover these costs until the end of 2027, but we need to ensure continued availability after that.

We aim to continue being able to guarantee availability of the tool for a minimum of 2 years at any point in time. This corresponds to the length of time the data from your project remains available to you on the Q-BEx servers. We are therefore asking researchers to include funding for Q-BEx access in their grant applications going forward.
